Our regional ambitions
The North Regional Hub encompasses a diverse region of approximately 58 million people, speaking 19 languages with 6 currencies. Leveraging the region's rich creative landscape, our focus is on key sectors such as gaming and innovative leadership. The North boasts one of the world's strongest gaming ecosystems, fuelled by vibrant developer communities, educational programmes, or international events like Nordic Game in Malmö. Fashion and design are also prominent across the region, evident in strong brands from Sweden and Denmark, and the production expertise found in Finland and the Baltic states. Architecture, cultural heritage, audiovisual media further represent significant assets, reflecting the North's unique blend of innovation, and storytelling. By building upon these dynamic cultural sectors, we aim to drive meaningful societal transformation through cultural practices.
