EIT Culture & Creativity is bringing its Regional Hub North Open Day to Aarhus, offering an opportunity to connect with the wider community shaping the sector's future: funders, founders, researchers, policymakers, and others. Attendees will also have the chance to see some of the city's creative ventures first-hand.
A gathering point for the region's creative economy
The North Regional Hub encompasses a diverse region of approximately 58 million people, supporting everything from gaming and design to architecture and audiovisual media. Open Days like this are designed to break down the silos that can exist between entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, students and creative practitioners – bringing everyone into the same room. This time, that venue is Kitchen at Aarhus University, in a city with a strong reputation of its own in design and urban innovation.
The first day features a welcome from the Regional Hub team and Aarhus University, expert insights, and a look back at how EIT Culture & Creativity's story has unfolded so far. The afternoon becomes more hands-on, with a discussions on new pathways to impact across the cultural and creative sectors, a fireside chat on what ecosystem work delivers in practice, pitches from regional entrepreneurs, and the launch of a new book on cross-innovation. The day closes with partner talks on skills development and a preview of what's coming next from the Hub.
The second morning swaps the conference room for the city itself. Participants can join organised visits to a handful of Aarhus's creative venues, offering a first-hand look at creative hubs in the Aarhus K and South Harbour areas.
