Our Degree programme

Learning beyond boundaries

In 2026, EIT Culture & Creativity will launch a portfolio of degree programmes that begin to redefine what it means to learn within the creative economy. Developed in partnership with top universities, research organisations and industry leaders, these initiatives will blend academic excellence with real-world innovation.

Master’s and PhD modules

In 2026, EIT Culture & Creativity introduced six innovative Master’s and PhD modules to address emerging skills needs across its priority areas - architecture, audiovisual media, cultural heritage, fashion and gaming - integrating the KIC’s core themes of entrepreneurship, innovation management and creative leadership. EIT Culture & Creativity is also planning EIT-Labelled Master’s programmes, co-delivered by consortia of universities and business partners, giving students international experience and stronger career prospects.

Bachelor-level summer and winter schools

EIT Culture & Creativity’s education offer will also include Bachelor-level summer and winter schools, introducing young learners to creative careers through hands-on learning in sustainability, digitalisation and entrepreneurship. To promote inclusion and employability, scholarships will support talented students from diverse backgrounds.

All degree programmes are built around the Knowledge Triangle Integration (KTI) model, bringing together higher education, research and business to deliver relevant, impactful learning.

Each curriculum is designed to foreground interdisciplinarity, sustainability and creative business development - preparing Europe’s creative talents to drive sustainable growth and lead the transformation of the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI).

Our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programme

Building skills for a changing world

The CPD programme emphasises the development of courses designed to equip students and professionals within the CCSI with vital skills in creativity, sustainability, digital technologies, entrepreneurship and sector-specific innovation. These CPD courses target skill gaps and emerging challenges across the EIT Culture & Creativity priority areas - architecture, audio-visual media, cultural heritage, fashion and gaming - promoting a robust, adaptive workforce ready to lead Europe’s creative industries into a sustainable, competitive future. Each call topic aligns with EIT Culture & Creativity’s strategic goals, promoting lifelong learning for sustainable growth, sector resilience and the capacity to address global transitions within CCSI.

The CPD courses portfolio features skills-based and EIT labelled courses. This structure allows us to develop impactful, high-quality learning pathways tailored to meet the diverse needs of professionals within the CCSI, cultivating innovation and resilience across Europe’s creative economy.

Skills-based CPD courses

The skills-based courses are tailored to address specific, immediate skill gaps or emerging industry needs. They are highly specialised, often focusing on a single topic or skill area within the CCSI and typically shorter in duration. Designed for flexibility and adaptability, these courses allow for quicker adaptation to market changes or industry trends. They provide professionals with timely, focused expertise that can be immediately applied in their work, supporting rapid upskilling or reskilling to meet specific professional requirements. Ideal for professionals seeking short-term professional development opportunities rather than comprehensive training, this format ensures targeted and efficient learning. Skills-based courses are valuable for quickly addressing particular learning needs and supporting continuous professional development within the CCSI.

EIT Labelled CPD courses

The EIT labelled courses are distinguished by their in-depth, comprehensive approach to professional development. They go beyond traditional skill-building by encouraging a well-rounded learning experience that includes technical expertise, entrepreneurial competencies and sustainable practices. The EIT Label is a quality seal awarded to courses that meet rigorous standards set by the EIT, ensuring high levels of excellence, relevance and coherence across all EIT educational offerings. These courses are typically longer in duration and align closely with strategic priorities such as the green and digital transitions. They are designed to make a lasting impact on learners' careers, and integrate core EIT principles, including innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and ecosystem engagement, preparing participants to drive change within the CCSI sector. Graduates of EIT-labelled CPD courses benefit from the recognition of the EIT Label, which signifies to employers a high standard of skills and readiness for cross-sectoral challenges.
