We achieve this by engaging closely with the broader European Institute of Technology (EIT) Community, specifically through the Higher Education Initiative (HEI) and the EIT Education Cluster.

Innovation Without borders
The EIT Higher Education Initiative is a joint activity of the EIT Community, which recognises Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as pivotal actors in regional and European innovation ecosystems.
The EIT Higher Education Initiative is uniquely designed to enhance the innovation capacity and entrepreneurial mindset of HEIs, and stimulate collaboration between academia, industry, research institutions, public authorities, and governmental organisations. Through competitive open calls for proposals, the initiative offers non-reimbursable grants to consortia formed by HEIs and their partners to work on innovation and entrepreneurship, but also on other dimensions of strategic interest for Europe, such as deep tech.
EIT Girls Go STEM
Girls Go STEM empowers the next generation by providing free digital education, promoting sustainability awareness and creating equal opportunities. Through the Circular Learning Space, we equip young women with essential digital and entrepreneurial skills, preparing them to thrive in the careers of the future and drive positive change in society.
EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative
The Deep Tech Talent Initiative is a pioneering programme led by the European Institute of Technology and Innovation (EIT) that has skilled one million people within deep tech fields. Deep tech innovations - cutting-edge technological solutions combining fields of science and engineering in the physical, biological and digital spheres - are indispensable in addressing the most pressing global challenges.
