EIT Culture & Creativity invites you to submit proposals for specialised skills-based Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for the Audio-visual media (AVM) sector, designed to have an immediate impact on participants’ careers by improving their professional skills, opening new job opportunities, and sparking innovation projects within their organisations. This call focuses on proposals within the strategic strands of intellectual property, artificial intelligence, and digital storytelling.
These shorter, focused courses must be granular, outcome-oriented, and primarily designed for asynchronous online delivery in English to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. Proposals are required to demonstrate a practice-oriented pedagogical approach that encourages critical reflection on technological ethics and digital sovereignty. Applicants must define specific, measurable learning outcomes and outline a balanced assessment strategy, to evidence how students use the new skills in a professional context.
This call is open to legal entities in EU Member States and/or Horizon Europe Associated countries, with both mono- and multi-beneficiary applications accepted. Selected projects will receive an EIT grant of up to EUR 75 000 per project. More details can be found below.

Who can apply
This call is open to legal entities established in EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries. Proposals may be submitted by both single applicants and consortia, as follows:
- Mono-beneficiary option: Open only to HEIs, VET institutions, or accredited professional training providers.
- Multi-beneficiaries (consortium) option: Up to three participants from at least two eligible countries. Must include:
- Project Coordinator from the Education sector (HEI, VET, or accredited professional training providers);
- up to two more entities among the following eligible ones: HEIs, VET institutions, Industry partners, accredited professional training providers, Non-profits/Associations (NGOs, Foundations), and Research/Media/Cultural institutions.
KPI REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory KPIs: all submitted proposals must address the KPIs listed below and indicate the expected minimum target value for each KPI:
- KPI EITHE08.1 (Minimum target expected: 600)
Number of successful participants in EIT professional development courses, online training courses and other education/training activities delivered or in a process of delivery (by country and type of programme), including data on country of citizenship and gender. Only participants who successfully finished the programme will be counted. For this KPI, only those education and training activities that have clearly defined learning outcomes, and carry out a competency assessment method, are applicable.
- KPI EITHE 08.2 (Minimum target expected: At least 30% of EITHE08.1)
Number of successful participants in EIT professional development courses, online training courses and other education/training activity delivered or in a process of delivery with citizenship in EIT RIS countries.
Please note: 50 participant spots must be made available free of charge within the project’s duration for beneficiaries of EIT Culture & Creativity’s Innovation and/or Business Creation Programmes.
Scope and topics
of the call
The primary objective of this call is to strengthen the professional competencies of individuals across the European Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI) through high-quality, practice-oriented Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Applicants are invited to propose training courses under one of three thematic strands, each addressing structural shifts in the audiovisual and digital media landscape:
- Strand A – Intellectual Property, Rights Management & Content Exploitation
Focuses on equipping professionals with the capabilities to manage rights and maximise value from audiovisual works in increasingly platform-driven and AI-mediated environments. This includes licensing, contract negotiation, and multi-territory exploitation strategies.
- Strand B – Artificial Intelligence in Audiovisual Production and Workflows
Addresses the integration of AI across the audiovisual value chain, including development, production, post-production, and distribution. Training should cover AI-enabled workflows, automation, synthetic media (e.g. deepfakes), and compliance with European regulatory frameworks, ensuring responsible and competitive adoption.
- Strand C – Storytelling for Digital, Interactive and Cross-Media Environments
Explores advanced narrative design for immersive, interactive, and transmedia formats, with a focus on maintaining narrative coherence and audience engagement across platform-based and algorithm-driven distribution environments.
