In October 2023 EIT Culture & Creativity will hit the road to meet stakeholders across Europe. The events will be hosted in the six cities hosting EIT Culture & Creativity Co-Location Centers (CLCs).
EIT Culture & Creativity, the ninth Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, is thrilled to announce more details and registration information for the upcoming European Culture & Creativity Days taking place from 10–25 October 2023.
Together with the partners hosting the subsidiaries in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bologna, Helsinki, Kosice, and Vienna, we are putting together exciting programmes and contents for our stakeholders. Inspiring sessions with artists, innovators, investors, and policymakers will spark the flame across Europe.

CLC South: 13 October. Bologna, Italy
Culture is the creativity of the past: Our partner ART-ER invites you to explore how research infrastructures, supercomputers, digital skills and outstanding human competencies can unleash creativity and thus shape culture, society and the economic wellbeing of the future.
On 13 October, ART-ER invites you to explore how the creativity of the present can help define the culture, society and well-being of the future through new technologies, skills and relationships.
What you can expect:
Conferences, seminars and networking opportunities in the presence of key international guests will focus on the development scenarios of cultural and creative sectors and industries, the heart of the economy and European identity. We also invite you to explore and participate in the Design x Human & Planet Care side event organized by the University of Bologna on 12 October.

CLC North West: 16-17 October. Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

CLC North West – Amsterdam is thrilled to announce the European Culture & Creativity Days – Amsterdam, a dynamic event hosted by the city of Amsterdam, uniting artists, innovators, investors, academics, policymakers and the entire culture & creativity sector. Join us for two inspiring days of innovation, collaboration and unleashing boundless creativity.
What you can expect:
Get to know what EIT Culture & Creativity has to offer you, how the North West region can serve you and dive into workshops, pitches and performances that highlight the diversity of players, practices and networks from North West Europe. Immersive yourself into cultural and creative Amsterdam and join one of the Creative City Tours.

CLC East: 18-19 October. Kosice, Slovakia.
It’s been 10 years since Kosice was European Capital of Culture, and our partner CIKE is rocking it since! We will explore how arts, technology and culture can improve our wellbeing and quality of life. You may as well enjoy the amazing the Art & Tech Days while you are there.
What you can expect:
October 18: You will enjoy a day full of inspiration and learning, with engaging talks, discussions, and workshops on topics such as investments in culture and creative industries, technology, policy making and cross-sectoral collaborations.
This event will be free, only registration is needed.
October 19: Art & Tech Conference is a unique opportunity to explore how technology, art and design can enhance our human potential and creativity. We will dive into the augmented worlds, where we will see how immersive and interactive experiences can transform our perception of reality and ourselves. We will talk about psychology, art and design, where we will learn how to use storytelling, empathy, and aesthetics to create meaningful and engaging content.
The event on the 19th has an entrance fee of 69€.

What is culture and creativity in today’s digital world? Whether you are riding the hype or watching from the barrier, do not miss Eurecat’s proposition and take part in the exciting debate about the cliffs and bridges of being creative in the era of generative, immersive and extended reality technologies.
Aligned with The Next Renaissance spirit, on 25th October 2023 the European Culture & Creativity Days in Barcelona will focus on the new concepts related withdigital culture and digital humanism become central in the midst of rapid development of technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and others, and its application in cultural and creative industries.
