Our Regional Hubs

EIT Culture & Creativity is based in Cologne and works through six Regional Hubs in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bologna, Helsinki, Košice, and Vienna. These hubs support local innovation, help meet regional needs, and contribute to growth and international scaling.

The Regional Hubs provide a range of support initiatives and services, such as:

  • Apply for financial support more easily: Stay informed about and connected to EIT Culture & Creativity support programmes.

  • Upskill and reskill your team: Access tailored training offers to prepare staff for future tasks.

  • Access European networks and markets: Benefit from immediate connections and soft landing points at other Regional Hubs across Europe.

  • Start-up and scale-up support: Take part in regional pitching rounds to qualify for the European Finals, where you can win EIT Culture & Creativity public grants or attract private investment.

  • Find new opportunities faster: Receive tailored guidance to connect with the EIT Culture & Creativity community across Europe, delivering concrete added value.

  • Cost-effective market access: Our city, regional, and investment networks offer curated introductions to first clients or sources of capital in Europe.

  • Boost your visibility in Europe: Apply for EIT Culture & Creativity’s Seal of Excellence.

  • Have a say in shaping support: Share your needs and challenges to help co-design future EIT Culture & Creativity programmes and initiatives.

Beyond the shared support tools available across all Regional Hubs, each one has developed its own specific focus to strengthen the innovation ecosystem:

  • The South West Regional Hub focuses on innovation in the audio-visual, architecture, and fashion value chains.

  • The South-East Europe and Alps (SEA) Regional Hub focuses on new materials and new production methods.

  • The South Regional Hub focuses on high computing capacities for digital creators.

  • The North Regional Hub focuses on sustainability management of cultural venues and sites.

  • The North West Regional Hub focuses on the role of cities and inclusive communities in supporting the resilience of the CCSI and Europe.

  • The East Regional Hub focuses on well-being and architecture/design in sustainable and resilient urban development.
